We are inviting All Monroe County Candidates running for Office 

City Council, County Legislature, District Attorney, County Executive, 

Bring your Questions 


This is just one outreach tool we provide to encourage civic responsibility, for educating and improving the economic status of the individuals, families and businesses within the NY communities, thus enhancing quality of life. 

  • This is your county Are you voting your values? 
  • Do you know where these candidates stand on issues?  
  • Are you Sick of politicians not listening to you? 
  • Ever wonder where they stand on issues?
  • Crime, Taxes, energy costs, food inflation, where are the jobs? 
  • How do you know who to vote for? 

We will provide candidates and the community an opportunity to come together and hear from each other. It is up to you to take advantage of this FREE and open to the public opportunity, to come out find out who wants to meet with you face to face as they ask for your vote and who is too afraid to face the public and the Frederick Douglass Foundation

 Current confirmed candidates include: 

  1. Andre Barnett - Independent conservative Running for President of the United States. 
  2. Rich Tyson - Running for City Council North East/Swillburg/MapleWood 
  3. Christopher Edes - 24th County legislative district. Highland, South Wedge, Swillburg, Mount Hope, and Upper Monroe & parts of Hennrietta/Brighton
  4. Drew Beeman - County Legislature 25th district Downtown, Corn Hill, South West, University of Rochester 

      5.  Alex White - City Council

Each candidate will be given a few minutes (max of 3) to 

speak on anything they wish, from their platform to who they are to why their ideas are best for those who have become dependant on the state and economically devastated.  Then take a 1 or  questions from the audience (held Town hall style), if there are any.
